Sometimes when travelling, the accommodation is the attraction and that certainly rang true during our time aboard this renovated 97-foot paddlewheel boat permanently moored in Newport’s South Beach Marina. Thankfully, a full-day downpour aligned with our stay at the Newport Belle. The Pacific Northwest is known for its rainfall and we got the full experience. She is permanently moored in the South Beach Marina in Newport. The Newport Belle Bed & Breakfast is a 97-foot paddlewheel boat built in 1993. Cannon Beach is buzzing with shops and restaurants and we surmised it would be a fantastic place to spend at least a few full days when we return, hopefully sooner than later.
